Nearest is Sandymouth approx. 2 miles from no 8. My favourite is Dog-Pool a similar distance, very unspoilt small car park. Bude approx. 6 miles away has 5 beaches, has recently been named as best beach by the Times paper all offering great surfing & body boarding. Good sunbathing, plenty of rock pools, sea filled on beach pool. nearby car parking Widemouth Bay a very large beach.
